So last week[when Joo hee originally released a video of her dancing] and there were comments like ‘they should do dance music’ and I’m sitting here like – pardon my French – he-fucking-llo! Group 8eight recently released their 2nd mini album last week and their latest music promotion has been their track, “Covering Those Lips.” 8eight’s haunting harmonies definitely make this song totally bump worthy.
2010 was quite a year. Break-ups, people leaving, new members, comebacks, deaths and ventures abroad. There were an endless amount of new girl groups with like a thousand members, okay that’s a bit exaggerated, but you get my point. Despite all that, there was some amazing music released this year. Mixed trio, 8eight, returned to the music scene with a completely different concept for their title track ‘Validity Period’ going with a synthesized electro beat. Unfortunately, some Korean fans weren’t very fond of the change in the vocal group, so the group went back to the studio to make ‘The End Is Coming’, written by Bang Si Hyuk who also wrote their hit, Empty Heart for their mini album The Bridge.
